This really is pretty shoddy. The animation is beautiful, the problem is, IT'S 2D!!! If you look at it side-on you see nothing. This is not a huge explosion that you can use to put near something to convey danger or whatever.... Think of it as an animated cardboard cut-out of an explosion.
